We're digging out after 2 days of snowy weather, and lots of north wind.
See that? On the far right? That's my car. Yesterday I got it dug out (breaking my windshield ice scraper -- it's okay: I have a spare -- and shovel in the process), and later this afternoon I'll go out and get at it again. I think apartment management has the plowing service in at about 4pm, so they'll want as many cars out of there as possible.
I have never, ever, before wanted to go on a cruise to someplace warm and sunny but after 20 minutes of digging and scraping yesterday, I kept thinking it was a brilliant idea.
So, what I really wanted to post today is the duet "Baby, It's Cold Outside", sung by two of the characters --Blaine and Curt -- on the TV show "Glee". (Chris Colfer and Darren Criss). But Youtube won't let me embed the code here on Typepad, so here's the link. If you've not seen it, it's worth it: it's cute, and romantic, and flirty, and, well...fabulous. (And I love how Darren Criss sings the phrase "Baby, it's cold outside.") Do you think Frank Loesser and lynn Garland ever imagined that their 1944 song would be sung by 2 guys?
