Stay strong... stay connected... stay friendly... If you ever need a Texan connection - charles@knitexan.com. You're worth it.

Bonnie

Thanks for posting this. I'm sending happy, positive energy your way!

Kate

Well done, Ted. Glad to see you coming back to this forum. :)

Was sort of in that space - and your therapist is right: it has to sort itself out.

I was wondering what had happened to you; I just added your blog to my own link.

Donna

Ted, I can't remember if I've ever commented here, but I've always appreciated your posts and I'm glad to see you're writing again. Keep baking and keep writing - I hope there's knitting in there somewhere too.

Deborah Robson

Been there, done that, need to do more of it: I know my work, but it's been a challenging year here, too. So glad to "see" you again in this post. "One day at a time" is the motto around our place, and it can work pretty well.

Judith in Ottawa

Happy to see you!

Yes, I've been there and done that as Deborah says. Time and space are great healers. Seems to me that you are doing the right things to help you regroup and go on with your life. These periods of introspection and not being very active in the outside world are really a gift. Even if you feel like h*ck for most of the time. For some strange reason the song "a time to reap, a time to sow, . . .a time unto heaven" came into my mind. I don't push any particular kind of religion onto anyone - but that song just wouldn't go away. I hope your new found self can keep on improving - and you will have a few mini-set backs - but you will be able to keep on going. Best - Hester from Atlanta

Thank you for posting (and growing stronger). I've been worried, even if I have never met you in person. You have always got a bed in the woods of Maine!

Natalie

Yes. I don't know if it's possible to see the breaking point until you're already past it. So glad you checked in & let us know where you're at.

Over the years, getting rid of stuff has been liberating for me and I hope that it helps you. I am glad you wrote this entry for all of us who were wondering about you. I hope you have a lovely piece of lace on your needles.
