| In Which Knitterguy Attends a Wedding »
- As you read this, I am driving down the highway to Champaign-Urbana in Illinois USA to attend the wedding celebrations of my friends Dirk and Jerry. Tonight I will hang out a bit with Beth at her shop, and then tomorrow continue on to C-U.
- On Tuesday night I cast on 400-and-some-odd stitches for my travel knitting.
- Also on Tuesday night I went shopping for some clothes. I took more clothes up to the cash register than I have ever taken up to a register at one time, and when I saw the total, I could only marvel at how inexpensive clothing is.
- Last night, my colleagues and I said good-bye to one of us who has been laid off, and who is returning to Winnipeg where she has secured a position. Our loss is their gain. Besides being very good at the job, she is a remarkable individual, and I will miss her very much.
See you when I'm back.

I bought three white shirts today at a Labels shop in St.John's Newfoundland. Design by Isaac Mizrahi. Total price with tax??
$11.31 Canadian. Who's making money?

That was for all three shirts by the way - less than $4.00 each!
